Tonight he will face his former team for the second time—he gave up six goals on 30 shots in a 6-1 loss back in November.

He allowed four goals on 31 shots in a 4-3 OT loss in the first meeting.

Reimer stopped 28 of 29 shots in the Panthers’ win over the Predators last night. Roberto Luongo was scheduled to start, but was hurt in warmups. With Luongo out, Reimer will start again tonight vs. the Bruins. Reimer has gone 2-2-1 with a 2.37 GAA and .927 SV% on home ice this season—but he lost his first start vs. the Bruins.

Reimer has had a below-average season, but he has been solid in December, going 1-1-1 with a 1.84 GAA and .935 SV%. With Roberto Luongo going last night, Reimer will start tonight vs. the Canadiens, who also played last night. The Habs come in having lost five of their last seven.
