Harkins was a healthy scratch in Montreal on Monday but will replace Gabriel Bourque tonight in Toronto. Harkins has two assists while playing 8:54 ATOI in seven games this season.
Harkins has played in the last seven games, posting two assists and five shots on goal while averaging just 8:54 TOI/gm. He'll take a seat in Montreal with Andrew Copp returning from an upper-body injury.
Harkins has been terrific in the AHL this season, leading Manitoba with 31 points (7G / 24A) in 30 games. The former second-round pick will replace Joona Luoto, so look for him to start his career on the fourth line.
