MacDonald has started 3 of 4 for the Flames, winning all three. His SV% is 31 pts better than Kipper's but is still probably not worth starting tonight.

That's two straight starts for JoeyMac with Kipper sitting on the bench - likely frustrating fantasy owners everywhere. MacDonald hopes to build off of his 3-2 OT win yesterday vs. Phoenix.

MacDonald played very well allowing just one goal on 40 shots in a win on Monday. He has a decent matchup tomorrow vs. the Coyotes, but playing a Flames goalie at this time of the year is risky.

MacDonald allowed eight goals on 39 shots against Edmonton in his last start. His last win was on March 27th against Colorado, who he faces tonight. He is 1-1-0 with a 4.05 GAA and .879 SV% vs. the Avalanche this year.

MacDonald allowed one goal on 14 shots in a relief effort of Miikka Kiprusoff on Monday. He will start tonight against an Oilers team who have won four straight.

MacDonald has not started since March 18th, he allowed four goals on 24 shots in a 4-3 loss to Dallas. He could be a decent spot start tonight against an Avalanche team who have lost six of their last seven games.

MacDonald will start and will be backed-up by Danny Taylor because Kiprusoff is back in Calgary with his wife as they welcome a new baby boy. MacDonald lost his last start allowing two goals on 21 shots on March 11th. He has a decent matchup tonight vs. the Stars.

MacDonald has posted a .900 SV% so far this year for the Flames. It might be worth keeping him on the bench against the Kings.

MacDonald has played well as a member of the Calgary Flames. He has won two of his last three with a 2.33 GAA and .920 SV%, the most important thing is he is giving the Flames a chance to win. He has a solid matchup tonight vs. Colorado however I'm sure he wishes Matt Duchene was not returning to the Avalanche lineup tonight.

MacDonald will try and extend his winning streak to three games tonight when the Flames take on Minnesota. MacDonald has been good in his time in Calgary and could be worth a spot start with a good matchup. However it is hard to recommend him against the WIld.

MacDonald was solid in the Flames win over Minnesota last night.

MacDonald has given up three goals in each of his three appearances with the Flames this season.

MacDonald recorded the win while stopping 27 of 30 shots he faced in his last start. MacDonald played well for the Red Wings last year but this is not a good Flames team and is fantasy value is limited to good match-ups. Calgary takes on Los Angeles tonight, so I wouldn't touch MacDonald.

Macdonald allowed 3 goals on 21 shots in relief of Leyland Irving yesterday vs. St Louis. He will get his first start as a Flame tomorrow vs. Dallas

MacDonald will likely be the Kipprusoff's backup when he returns because he has more experience that Leyland Irving. Danny Taylor will likely return to the AHL after tonight's game.

MacDonald has been ruled out for the remainder of the regular season but could be an option in the playoffs. No reason to own him in single-season formats.

Although surgery is not necessary, MacDonald likely draws out for the remainder of the regular season. Safe to drop him across all formats.

Good news that MacDonald doesn't need surgery but the backup goalie is reporting close to no progress.

MacDonald not practicing is not a good sign. Expect the backup to miss at least tonight's game and possibly the rest of the week.

Sounds like MacDonald will miss at least one game. With Jimmy Howard not back to 100 percent, the options for the Red Wings are looking slightly worse.
