Larsson suffered a dislocated wrist and elbow on Saturday and will miss the next 16 weeks rehabbing his injuries. Larsson is expected to be out until May, which means he could be back if the Sabres end up making the playoffs and go on a run.

Larsson remains in hospital after sustaining a dislocating his wrist and elbow in Saturday’s loss with the Bruins. Larsson was injured when crashed hard into the boards and is expected to miss at least a few weeks.

Larsson was a healthy scratch on Saturday in Tampa Bay, but he will replace David Legwand in the lineup tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Larsson has no points and three shots on goal in three games this season.

Larsson registered one goal and one assist in his first two games, but was held off of the scoreboard in the next six games of his recall. The 22-year-old forward heads back to Rochester, where he has 23 points (8G / 15A) in 26 games.

Larsson will replace Matt Moulson, who was send home sick just prior to warmups.

Larsson did not record a point with a minus-1 rating, while averaging 10:39 TOI in four games with the Sabres. Sending Larsson back to Rochester suggests that Marcus Foligno will be back in the lineup on Tuesday.

Larsson, 22, has been recalled to fill-in for Marcus Foligno who is banged up. Larson has three goals and five assists (8 points) in nine games with Rochester this season. He has totalled four assists in 29 career NHL games.

Larsson, 22, was injured in the preseason against the Maple Leafs but is apparently close to returning so he will start the season in the AHL. Larsson had 15 goals and 26 assists (41 points) in 51 games with Rochester last season.

Larsson had three assists in seven games during his call-up. He totalled four assists in 28 games this season.

Larsson, 21, started the season with the Sabres, but only had one assist in 21 games. It has been a different story in the AHL, where he has totalled 39 points (15G / 24A) in 45 games.

Larsson has just one assist in 20 games with the Sabres this season, so he heads to the AHL where he has tallied nine points (2G / 7A) in 13 games for Rochester.

Larsson played 18:51, recording no points on Monday after he was recalled because multiple forwards were battling the flu.

A number of Sabres' players are battling the flu right now so Larsson will suit up along with Mark Pysyk. Larsson recorded just one assist in 17 games with the Sabres earlier in the year.

Larsson was a healthy scratch in the last three games and had just one assist in 17 games. The Sabres had an extremely young team, but changed that by sending multiple players to Rochester and juniors. Larsson like many of Buffalo's young skaters has a bright future ahead of him, but is not fantasy relevant at this time.

Larsson was the 56th overall pick in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Larsson is good in both ends of the ice and should be able to adapt his game to the NHL. He has 15 goals and 22 assists in 62 games in the AHL this season.
