It's still hard to trust a goalie who plays for the Red Wings but he's been outstanding and will look to beat the Sabres for the second time in a week tonight.

Despite playing for the worst team in the NHL, Bernier has played very well recently and draws a nice matchup tonight vs. San Jose--the Sharks have lost four straight on the road while scoring just 1.25 goals per game.

As scary as it might be to start the Red Wings goalie right now, the matchup looks OK. Columbus has lost seven of their last eight road games (1-4-3) while scoring just 2.00 goals per game and they played last night, so the struggling Elvis Merzlikins will be between the pipes for them.
