After Johnathan Bernier started the last two games for the Kings, Quick is expected to be back between the pipes tonight. Quick has struggled this year after offseason back surgery. In his last 4 starts he has only won once while posting a 3.23 GAA and .853 SV%.
Quick was outplayed by Pekka Rinne in his last outing. The Predators only managed to throw 14 shots at the net but scored on 3 of them. The Kings had 32 shots but couldn't beat Rinne and lost 3-0. Quick has a fairly tough matchup against a Red Wings team that is good on home-ice.
