Binnington was yanked after allowing four goals on 24 shots in the Blues' 8-0 loss in Colorado last Friday. It was an ugly outing for the entire team but the Blues will go right back to their No.1 netminder tonight vs. the Sharks. In his only start vs. the Sharks in 2020, Binnington stopped 27 of 29 shots in a winning effort.

Binnington stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Blues' 4-1 win in Colorado on Wednesday. It was a great start to the season for Binnington, who struggled in the bubble, going 0-5-0 with a 4.72 GAA and .851 SV%. Wins against the Avalanche won't come easily, so Binnington is a risky option as he looks to start the season 2-0.
After a breakout 2019 campaign, Binnington came back down to earth a bit in 2020. He still managed to win 30 games while posting a 2.56 GAA and .912 SV% in 50 starts. Binnington struggled a bit on the road, going 10-8-2 with a .903 SV%, so he could have a tough start to the season with a road matchup in Colorado. He was 2-2-0 with a 3.98 GAA and .857 SV% in two starts vs. the Avalanche last year.

The loss snapped a six-game winning streak for Binnington, who comes into Monday at 20-4-5 with a 2.21 GAA, .918 SV% and three shutouts on home-ice. Tonight he’ll see a Panthers team that has gone 4-2-0 while averaging 3.83 goals for and 3.00 goals against per game in their last six road outings.

The 26-year-old heads into New York at 9-7-2 with a 3.22 GAA and .900 SV% on the road this year--in his first start vs. the Rangers, he allowed two goals on 23 shots in a 5-2 win (Jan.11).

The 26-year-old is 19-4-5 with a 2.23 GAA, .919 SV% and three shutouts at the Enterprise Center this season. In his first start vs. the Islanders, Binnington allowed three goals on 32 shots in a 3-2 OT loss.
Binnington allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Blues win in Minnesota on Sunday. Binnington has been red-hot as of late, winnings three in a row while posting a 0.33 GAA, .984 SV% and two shutouts. In his first game vs. the Blackhawks, Binnington allowed three goals on 22 shots in a 4-3 win (Dec.14).
Binnington stopped all 14 shots that he faced in the Blues shutout win over the Coyotes on Thursday. Binnington has posted back-to-back shutouts but he's only had to stop 31 shots to do so. He'll look to make it three in a row tonight in Minnesota. In his first start vs. the Wild, Binnington stopped 35 of 36 shots in a 2-1 win (Oct.30).
