Oesterle missed Thursday's game in Vancouver and will likely sit out of Saturday's game in Edmonton as well. Kyle Capobianco was called up from the AHL to take Oesterle's spot on the roster.
Oesterle missed two games but will be back in vs. the Wild. Oesterle has some offensive ability but plays a limited role. He has turned that into three assists in eight games this season.

Oesterle took a puck in the back of the head on Thursday night and is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Senators. If Oesterle can’t play, Ilya Lyubushkin will draw into the lineup.
Oesetrle will come out of the lineup to allow Jakob Chychrun to draw back into the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the last three games.
Oesterle missed Monday’s practice and will not play Tuesday vs. the Ducks. Jason Demers will replace Oesterle on the Coyotes blueline.
Oesterle has quietly enjoyed a quality season out in Arizona, scoring six goals with 14assists (20 points) in 51 games this season. Oesterle has been a reliable daily fantasy option thanks to his 0.4 points per game, 1.98 blocked shots per game and 1.14 shots per game.
Oesterle and Ilya Lyubushkin have been swapping in and out of the Coyotes lineup to start the season. Oesterle played just 14:05 TOI in his Coyotes debut on October 4th, so don’t expect him to carry any fatansy value on the Coyotes third pair.
