Spence has an assist, six SOG, and a +3 plus/minus through five games this season but will be a healthy scratch Monday as Los Angeles takes on Calgary. The 22-year-old will be replaced by Sean Walker in the Kings' lineup.
Spence had four goals, 37 assists, 30 PIMs and a -14 plus/minus through 50 games played with Ontario (AHL) and has been recalled to Los Angeles for the second time this season. The 22-year-old has 27 career NHL games played, with two goals and eight points.
Spence has two goals, 19 assists, and 18 PIMs in 22 games with Ontario (AHL) but will head back up to Los Angeles where he will be looking to pick up his first point of the season after previously playing three games with the Kings earlier in the season.
Spence has been recalled as a replacement for the injured Drew Doughty Monday. In 22 games with the Ontario Reign (AHL), he has two goals and 21 points with 18 PIMs and will be looking to make his season debut the next time the Kings take the ice.
Spence has been having a a very strong season with Ontario (AHL) posting just under a point-per-game with a goal and 15 assists and 14 PIMs through 17 games. Spence played in 24 games with Los Angeles in 2021-22 and had two goals and six assists with 41 SOG.
Spence was a fourth-round pick in 2019 and will make his NHL debut on Thursday, replacing Drew Doughty (undisclosed) in the lineup. Spence has scored four goals with 38 assists (42 points) in 46 AHL games this season.
