Saros allowed five goals on 24 shots in the Predators loss in Florida last Thursday. Pekka Rinne started the last two games but Saros will start the second-half of their back-to-back vs. the Lightning. Saros has lost four of his last five starts while allowing a combined 18 goals on 123 shots (.854 SV%).

Saros surrendered four goals on 27 shots in the Predators loss in Tampa Bay on Monday. Saros has now lost three of his last four starts while allowing 13 goals on 99 shots (.869 SV%). The 25-year-old has struggled on the road, going 0-3-0 with a 4.62 GAA and .821 SV%.

In 2020, Saros set a new career-high in starts (34) but a career-worst in GAA (2.70) and SV% (.914). After posting a .924 SV% in the first two years of his career, Saros is t-14th in SV% (.915) over the last two years. Tonight will be the first time that someone other than Pekka Rinne starts a Predators' season opener since 2009.

He finished the game with 33 saves on 37 shots (.892 SV%) and that was enough for the Predators to go back to him in a super important Game 2.

Saros stopped all 37 shots that he faced in the Predators shutout win in Dallas on Saturday. He posted back-to-back shutouts in their home-and-home with the Stars last week and is now 5-2-0 with a 1.80 GAA, .949 SV% and two shutouts in his last eight appearances (seven starts). Tonight he'll face a Montreal team that has gone 4-7-2 while scoring just 2.54 goals per game over the last month.

Saros stopped all 33 shots that he faced in the Predators shutout win over the Stars on Thursday. It was a terrific game for Saros, who is 6-3-0 with a 2.17 GAA, .934 SV% and two shutouts in his last nine starts. He'll look to have another strong game vs. the Stars today but he's 8-6-3 with a 3.13 GAA and .904 SV% on the road this year.

Saros has gone 3-3-0 with a 2.73 GAA and .921 SV% in his last six outings and will start for the sixth time in seven games tonight vs. the Stars. Dallas has gone 2-2-2 with 2.33 goals per game in their last six games.
