Kari Lehtonen News

Lehtonen will start today for the Stars.

Lehtonen allowed five goals on 38 shots in his return after missing five games with a lower-body injury. He will be back between the pipes tonight when the Stars take on the Blues. It is a tough matchup for Lehtonen so I would look elsewhere if possible.

Dallas Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen returns for tonight’s game against Edmonton after missing the last five games with a groin injury.

Lehtonen will return to the Stars net tonight and will look to pick up where he left off before the injury. He was one of the NHL's hottest goalies at the time of the injury. He has a decent matchup tonight against an Edmonton team still trying to find their offense. However they have tons of skill and can pour it on at any time so be skeptical about Lehtonen tonight.

Kari Lehtonen skated hard and stayed out late. However, he still is questionable for Tuesday at CBJ.

Lehtonen was on five game winning streak before he got hurt has been out since February 15th. He is questionable for tomorrow's game vs. Columbus so check in tomorrow to see if he will be able to go. It is a back-to-back for the Stars so they are hoping he will be able to start.

Kari Lehtonen left yesterday's game after he went down in a butterfly in the first period, bounced up gingerly and then waved to the bench to come get him out of the game.

Lehtonen had won 5 straight entering play last night, but was forced to leave the game with a groin injury. Richard Bachman came in for him and won the game. Lehtonen is considered day-to-day for now, and Bachman will likely start on Sunday.

Lehtonen will start tonight vs. Vancouver.

Lehtonen has a 5 game winning-streak heading into tonight's game against Vancouver. During his 5 game winning streak he has a 1.77 GAA and .940 SV%, however those numbers will be put to the test tonight against a tough Vancouver team.

Lehtonen will start tonight for the Stars.

Lehtonen comes into tonight on a 3 game winning streak. In those 3 starts he has played very well posting a 2.26 GAA and .926 SV%. However he has a tough matchup tonight against a Ducks team that is firing on all cylinders. It being the only game in the NHL tonight it would help getting some good numbers from him but is it worth the risk? High risk, high reward start tonight for Lehtonen.

Kari Lehtonen in goal tomorrow vs. the Edmonton Oilers.

Lehtonen has played very well this season. He is 4-2-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .925 SV% which makes him a solid low-end #1 fantasy option. The Stars have had a hrd time scoring on a regular basis, if they can find the net more Lehtonen will be even more valuable.

Lehtonen will start for the Stars.

Lehtonen (3-2-1, 2.62 GAA, .924 SV%) finally got a win after a 4 game losing skid and will be back between the pipes tonight after getting the Stars last game off. He has played better than his numbers would suggest but also has let in some softies. He has a good matchup tonight against the Avs.

Lehtonen will start tonight vs. the Red Wings.

Lehtonen's last win came against the Red WIngs but hasn't won since. He has been playing well this season and should continue to put up good numbers. The Red Wings have been up-and-down this season in terms of scoring so Lehtonen is a high-risk, high-reward option tonight.

Lehtonen will start tonight against the Red Wings.

Lehtonen gets his 2nd start of the year after have a couple days off since his 37 save performance that resulted in a win on opening night. I think it is worth noting though that Lehtonen is 3-5 with a 3.40 GAA in his career against the Red Wings. However the Wings haven't really found their scoring touch just yet, so he could improve on those numbers tonight.
