Miller skated with a no-contact sweater this morning so he’s still not quite ready to return to the Bruins blueline. Miller will likely ditch that sweater later this week and could be back Saturday in Vancouver.

Miller missed yesterday’s game in Detroit to be with his wife for the birth of their child but will draw back into the lineup tonight vs. Washington. Miller, who will replace Paul Postma on the blueline, has five assists in 26 games this season.
Miller missed last Saturday’s game vs. Buffalo, but it looks like he will be back in tonight vs. the Sharks. Miller has no points, four shots, 21 hits and 11 blocked shots on the young season.
Miller has missed the last four games with a concussion, but will return to the lineup tonight versus the Red Wings. Miller has just three assists and 26 shots on goal in 26 games this season.
Miller had to get surgery to repair a broken bone in his left hand and will miss the first six weeks of the regular season. With Miller out, Brandon Carlo is expected to take his spot next to Zdeno Chara.
Miller already made it back from a knee injury this preseason, but a new undisclosed injury will keep him out for “an extended period of time,” per Bruins GM Don Sweeney. With Miller out, 19-year-old Brandon Carlo and 23-year-old Rob O’Gara, who both impressed in training camp, will start the year with the Bruins and could see big minutes early in the year.
