Brossoit was 1-0-0 with a 2.20 GAA and .936 SV% through three games this season but is now considered day-to-day due to a lower-body injury. Brossoit joins a long list of injured goalies as he becomes the third Vegas injured netminder.
Laurent Brossoit News
Brossoit was fantastic in his first start of the season, stopping 37 of 39 shots (.949 SV%) as he was the bad luck loser in a defeat to the Chicago Blackhawks in overtime. The 29-year-old will take on the Calgary Flames Thursday, who have only won two of their last five games but are 2nd in the NHL in shots per game (35.7).

Brossoit had an 8-11-3 record, .909 SV% and 2.72 GAA with the Henderson Silver Knights (AHL) and will make his Vegas season debut Tuesday vs. Chicago. The 29-year-old was 10-9-3 with a .895 SV% and 2.90 GAA through 24 games played in 2021-22 with Vegas. He takes on the Chicago Blackhawks, who have won their last two games but are still 31st in the NHL in both goals per game (2.47) and shots (26.8).
Brossoit will head to Henderson of the AHL for an LTIR conditioning loan Monday. It is great news for the eight-year veteran who has 42 wins, a 2.84 GAA and a .905 career save percentage. Vegas has eight wins through their first 10 games so will be in no rush to bring the veteran back.
Brossoit has been sidelined by an undisclosed injury since March 15th and was one of three players added to LTIR on Tuesday to make room for Mark Stone to be activated for their game in Vancouver. With the emergence of Logan Thompson, we may not see Brossoit again this season.
