The 25-year-old defenseman was Winnipeg's 2016 1st round pick (18th overall) and has three goals, 20 points, 91 PIMs, and a +13 plus/minus through three NHL seasons and 114 career games.

Stanley played 8:58 TOI in Game 4 and was a -1 plus/minus but will be a healthy scratch for Game 5 Thursday vs. Vegas. Kyle Capobianco will replace the towering defenseman in the Jets' lineup.

Stanley is reportedly dealing with some "minor" bumps and bruises, so he'll come out of the lineup vs. the Avalanche. Stanley will be replaced by Dylan Samberg in the lineup.

Stanley missed Saturday and Sunday's games and was placed on IR ahead of Tuesday's game vs. the Panthers. The Jets used the roster spot to call up Johnathan Kovacevic from the taxi squad.

Stanley replaced Jordie Benn in the lineup on Monday but will come back out on Wednesday with Ville Heinola making his return to the NHL.
