Domingue allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Devils loss in Minnesota last Tuesday. Mackenzie Blackwood started the last two games but Domingue will start the front-end of their back-to-back on Monday. Since coming up from the AHL, Domingue has gone 1-1-0 while allowing just four goals on 54 shots (.926 SV%). Tonight he takes on a Sabres team that had a solid weekend but are 2-4-2 in their last eight.

He was great for the Lightning last season, going 21-5-0 with a .908 SV% but was relegated to the AHL after the Lightning signed Curtis McElhinney. He was acquired by the Devils and has been called up with no one going the other way, a sign New Jersey will carry three goalies for the time being.

Tonight he is expected to face the Avalanche on home-ice, where he is 6-1-0 with a 2.59 GAA and .921 SV%.
