Despite saying they "fully expect" him to re-join them on this trip, head coach Gerard Gallant admitted he's not sure when Fleury will be with them. Malcolm Subban will continue to start with Garret Sparks as his backup while Fleury is away.
Fleury is away from the team to tend to a family illness, so Garret Sparks has been recalled and will likely serve as Malcolm Subban's backup. There is no indication whether or not Fleury will be back for Friday's game vs. the Coyotes.
