McCarron has picked up two assists in seven games with Milwaukee this season. He comes up to replace Filip Forsberg, who is week-to-week with an upper-body injury and was moved to IR.
McCarron was a first-round pick (No.25 overall) in 2013 but has yet to make an impact at the NHL level. The 24-year-old had 21 points (7G / 14A) in 32 games with Laval (AHL) last year, but had just one assist in 18 NHL games. In total, McCarron has just eight points (2G / 6A) and 110 PIMS in 69 career games with Montreal.

The 6-foot-6, 230 lbs. forward has registered two goals and two assists in six games with the Laval Rocket so far this year. He comes up because Ales Hemsky is dealing with an upper-body injury.
McCarron served as a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will replace David Desharnais in the lineup tonight. Desharnais is a potential trade piece for the Canadiens, so they will scratch him as asset protection before the trade deadline. McCarron has one goal and four assists (five points) in 21 games this season.
McCarron has one goal and three assists (four points) in 15 games with the Canadiens this season. McCarron played just 7:18 TOI in Saturday and will be replaced by Jacob De La Rose this afternoon.
McCarron, 21, has picked up four goals and eight assists (12 points) in 21 games with St. John’s this season. He was called-up prior to Saturday’s game, but will not draw into the lineup vs. Colorado. He has one goal and one assist in 20 career NHL games.
