Zadorov played just 10:10 on Thursday and will come out of the lineup tonight in Minnesota. The huge defenseman has collected just two assists in 16 games this season and will be replaced by Eric Gelinas tonight.

He has an extremely projectable frame and a nasty side to his game, but he hasn’t fully developed into an everyday NHL defenseman yet. The AHL will allow him more ice time and freedom to grow.
