Niederreiter is expected to miss his fifth straight game with an ankle injury but he will likely play on Thursday as long as he makes it through Wednesday’s practice unscathed. This will be a huge boon for the Wild, who are getting Zach Parise (back) in the lineup for the first time this season on Tuesday.
Niederreiter was injured prior to the Christmas break and will miss his second straight game tonight. There’s no word on how long Niederreiter will be out, so consider him day-to-day.
Niederreiter left last night’s game in Florida with an ankle injury and will not be in the lineup tonight. Niederreiter was spotted wearing a walking boot after the game, so he could be sidelined for some time. Expect ab update on his status after Christmas.
The Wild initially listed Niederreiter as a game-time decision for Tuesday, but head coach Bruce Boudreau told a local radio station that Niederreiter will make his return tonight vs. the Jets. Niederreiter has missed the last six games but is expected to draw in on a line with Eric Staal tonight. He is still searching for his first point of the season, but Niederreiter likely won’t have to wait too long for it to happen.

Niederreiter has had himself a strong postseason, and he will be rewarded tonight as he swaps places with Matt Moulson. Nino has two goals and two assists while averaging just 13:16 in the first nine games of the playoffs.
Niederreiter missed Thursday's game but will be back tonight vs. the Penguins. He has just on goal and one assist in his last 10 games.

The fifth overall pick in 2010 never got a chance when he was with the Islanders, but is finally getting his shot with the WIld. He has two assists in three games, but definitely receives a boost in value playing on the Minnesota top line.
Niederreiter, known more for his scoring, had five hits, often came away from board battles with the puck and is getting stronger without the puck every game, coach Mike Yeo said.
