Faksa was a healthy scratch on Monday but will return to the lineup on Thursday in favour of Ty Dellandrea. Faksa is riding a two-game point streak (0G / 2A) and will assume his regular role on the fourth line with Craig Smith and Sam Steel.
Radek Faksa News
Faksa will be a healthy scratch on Monday against the Seattle Kraken, allowing Craig Smith to draw back into the lineup. Faksa has six points (2G / 4A) in 25 games this season and is only averaging 12:59 time-on-ice, his lowest total since his 2015-16 rookie season.
Faksa has not played since October 30th but will return on Thursday after being a full participant in the Stars' last two practices. Faksa has zero points, averaging 13:24 time-on-ice through seven games this season.
Faksa has not played since October 30th but is nearing a return after being a full participant in the Stars' last two practices. Faksa has zero points, averaging 13:24 time-on-ice through seven games this season and will likely assume his spot on the fourth line when he is able to return.
Faksa took a hard hit along the boards during last Tuesday's preseason game and had to get stitches on his face. He was not in concussion protocol, so there's a good chance that Dallas' fourth-line centre is available for opening night.
Faksa left Wednesday's game late and did not return due to a lower-body injury. While he's officially considered a game-time decision, the Stars do not really expect him to play vs. the Jets. Look for Tanner Kero to replace him in the bottom-6.
Faksa has missed the last two games but will play Friday vs. the Capitals. Faksa, who has 11 points (2G / 9A) in 38 games this season, will replace Riley Damiani in the lineup.
Faksa and Michael Raffl will both miss Monday's game in Philadelphia, so expect Riley Damiani and Riley Tufte to draw into the lineup.
Faksa was one of six Stars players added to COVID-19 protocol on Sunday and two more were added on Monday. As of right now, they are scheduled to play three games this week, starting on Wednesday but it seems likely that they are going to be postponed.
Faksa left Sunday's game vs. Nashville with a lower-body injury and did not return. He was on the ice for Tuesday's morning skate and will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game vs. the Lightning.
Faksa has not appeared in a game during the series, so it's not surprising that he won't be available for a must-win Game 6. Nicholas Caamano will stick in the lineup with Faksa out.
Faksa missed Game 4 and has already been ruled out of tonight's Game 5. Roope Hintz was banged up in Game 4 and is questionable tonight, so the Stars could be really thin at centre if he's a no go. At that point, they will likely go with 11 forwards and seven defensemen and we would likely see a lot of Tyler Seguin and Joe Pavelski double shifting on the fourth line.
