Nash has been held without a point in six straight games and will be replaced by Kole Sherwood on Saturday as the Blue Jackets continue to search for more offence.
Nash has been a healthy scratch for the last two games but will replace Markus Hannikainen in the lineup on Thursday. Nash has just one goal on 63 shots (1.6 SH%) and seven assists in 63 games this season.
Nash is one of three players who will not be available on Thursday. Zac Dalpe was recalled from Cleveland (AHL) to fill-in for Nash.
Nash left Saturday's win over the Panthers early with an apparent head injury and will not play against the Flyers on Sunday. Look for Brian Gionta to step back into the Bruins lineup to replace Nash on Sunday.
The Bruins will host the Jets tonight but they could be without some key forwards including Nash, who is officially listed as questionable for tonight’s contest. Monitor his status when the Bruins hit the ice for pre-game warmups at 6:30 pm ET.

Nash, 27, was a first round pick (21st overall) in 2007 but has yet to develop into a full-time top-6 forward. He had nine goals and 13 assists (22 points) in 64 games with the Hurricanes last season. He enters the 2016-17 season with the Bruins where he will likely serve as their third-line centre.

Nash missed Sunday’s game with an undisclosed injury that he suffered on Saturday. He missed the Hurricanes’ morning skate on Tuesday and is not expected to play. He is listed as day-to-day.
Nash crashed hard into his own goalpost while chasing down Brock Nelson in Saturday’s overtime loss. Nash got up gingerly from the collision and will be held out of the lineup tonight. With no healthy reserve forwards on the roster, Michal Jordan will dress as a seventh defenseman.
Nash has missed the last five games with a shoulder injury but Hurricanes head coach Bill Peters said that he thinks that Nash will return to the lineup tonight in San Jose.
Nash will miss at least the next three games with an upper-body injury. There is a chance he could be ready for next Wednesday’s game in Colorado, but he could just as easily miss the entire West Coast trip and miss up to six games.
