Lehner hasn’t won much, but only because of a lack goal support. Tonight he gets the call against a Flames team that has lost six in a row while being outscored 22-12.

Lehner has gone 4-7-2 with a 2.32 GAA and .931 SV% this season and tonight he faces an Oilers team that has lost seven of their last eight games.

Lehner gave up four goals on 31 shots in the Sabres loss to the Penguins on Sunday. Lehner has gone 4-5-2 with a 2.46 GAA, .928 SV% and one shutout since returning to the Sabres’ crease in mid-January. Tonight he starts in Anaheim the 24-year-old has gone 3-2-2 with a 1.97 GAA and .941 SV% on the road this season.

Lehner stopped all 38 shots he faced in the Sabres shutout win over the Blue Jackets on Friday. Lehner has caught fire recently, winning two of his last three while stopping 87 of 89 shots (.978 SV%). He’ll face a Penguins team that lost 4-2 to the Lightning yesterday, making it three losses in their last five.

Lehner stopped 25 of 26 shots in the Sabres 2-1 shootout loss in Ottawa on Tuesday. After a rough three games, Lehner has played well in back-to-back games, going 1-0-1 while stopping 59 of 61 shots (.967 SV%). He draws a tough matchup tonight vs. a Blue Jackets team that has gone 4-0-2 in their last six games.

Lehner stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Sabres win over the Avalanche on Sunday. It was a a nice bounce-back for Lehner, who came in on a three-game losing streak, where he allowed a combined 11 goals. The former Ottawa Senator will face his former team for the third time. The first, was his Sabres debut when he got hurt, the second he stopped 34 shots in a 3-2 win.

Lehner allowed five goals on 28 shots in the Sabres 5-1 loss to the Flyers on Thursday. Lehner has lost his last three starts while posting an ugly 4.62 GAA and .859 SV%. His numbers have gone south in a hurry and tonight he’ll face the Avalanche for the second time—he stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 2-1 loss in mid-January.

Lehner was pulled after allowing four goals on 12 shots in the Sabres blowout loss to the Panthers on Tuesday. Despite the rough outing, Lehner will be back in goal tonight vs. the Flyers. Lehner is 2-3-1 with a 2.65 GAA and .926 SV% this season and tonight he faces a Philly team that has lost three consecutive.

Lehner allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Sabres OT loss in Boston on Saturday. The loss snapped a brief two game winning streak for Lehner, who is 2-3-1 with a 2.17 GAA and .940 SV% in six starts since returning to the Sabres’ crease. Tonight he faces a hot Panthers team coming off of a loss last night and could be without star centre Aleksander Barkov.

Lehner allowed two goals on 36 shots in the Sabres win in Ottawa last Tuesday. It was Lehner’s first win of the season, but he has played very well since returning to the crease. In four games since getting back, Lehner is 1-3-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .938 SV%. He has a chance to make it two in a row when he takes on a Habs team that hast lost three in a row and are 1-7-1 in their last nine.

Lehner allowed two goals on 44 shots in the Sabres loss to the Red Wings on Friday. He has lost three straight games since returning to the crease, posting a 2.36 GAA and .936 SV% in the process. Tonight he will face the Senators, the team he played for from 2010-15. Ottawa has gone 3-4-0 in their last seven games.

Lehner allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Sabres loss to the Avalanche on Wednesday. He has lost each of his two starts since returning from an ankle injury, but he has played well. So far, he has stopped 60 of 65 shots (.923 SV%) but will be looking for his first win of the season tonight vs. the Red Wings. Detroit comes in averaging 2.38 goals per game (16th) on the road this season.

Lehner allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Sabres loss to the Bruins last Friday. It was an OK return for Lehner, who sat and watched Chad Johnson the last two games. Tonight Lehner will take on an inconsistent Avalanche team that has gone 5-3-0 while averaging 2.75 goals per game in their last eight contests.

Lehner allowed one goal on 12 shots before spraining his ankle back on October 8th. He went 1-2-0 with a 3.36 GAA and .888 SV% on his conditioning stint in Rochester (AHL) and tonight he makes his return to the NHL. He is 30-36-13 with a 2.88 GAA and .914 SV% in his career, which includes 11 starts vs. Boston—he is 3-5-2 with a 2.68 GAA and .925 SV% in those games.

The Sabres have recalled Robin Lehner from his conditioning stint with Rochester (AHL).

Lehner only appeared in one game with the Sabres this season, back on October 8th. He stopped 11 of 12 shots before leaving the game with a high ankle sprain. During his conditioning stint he went 1-2-0 with a 3.36 GAA and .888 SV% in three starts. He will likely start on of the Sabres’ back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday.

Lehner (ankle) still needs more time.

Lehner is more than six weeks into a 6-10 week timetable. Many reports suggest that Lehner suffered a setback, but head coach Dan Bylsma disagreed. “I don’t think I would call it a setback," Bylsma said. "He got to the point where he started upping his rehab level and that’s where he had to back off of that a bit.” Lehner is reportedly still wearing a walking boot and will need more time before he returns to the crease.

Lehner is expected to miss 6-10 weeks with a high-ankle sprain.

Lehner suffered the injury in the Sabres’ season opener on Thursday. He will miss at least a month and a half, but could be out for 10 weeks. In the meantime the Sabres will go with Chad Johnson as their starter, but don’t be surprised if they make a trade for another goalie.
