It remains to be seen who will start in the playoffs, but it is great news for Canucks that Miller will be available. The Canucks announced this afternoon that they will be without Miller for the remainder of the regular season. They will have to roll with Eddie Lack, who has gone 6-3-1 with a 2.20 GAA and .929 SV% since Miller went down.

Miller is two and a half weeks into a 4-6 week timetable, so according to Willie Desjardins it is looking like he will be back closer to the end of that time frame than the beginning. Miller, who suffered a lower-body injury last night, will head home for an MRI to identify the nature and severity of his injury. Returning Miller back to Vancouver all but guarantees that Eddie Lack will start on Tuesday and that Jacob Markstrom will be recalled from Utica (AHL).

Miller was pulled from Monday’s game in Minnesota after he allowed five goals on 18 shots. February has been hard on Miller so far—he is 1-3-0 with a 3.80 GAA, .877 SV% and one shutout so far this month. Tonight he will face a Bruins team who have lost three of four in February as well.
