Murray has not played since Nov. 21st due to a back injury and was placed on the LTIR Tuesday. The 29-year-old had three assists, four PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 13 games prior to the injury.

Murray fractured his hand while blocking a shot on Monday and is expected to be sidelined for at least a couple of weeks. Kurtis MacDermid will likely move back to the blueline with Artturi Lehkonen replacing him up front.
