After missing just one game in 2017 and 2018 combined, Bennett appeared in just 71 games last season but averaged the least ice-time of his career (13:17 TOI/GM). After missing the start of the season because of shoulder surgery, Bennett, 18, went back to the OHL where he tallied 11 goals and 13 assists (24 points) in 11 games with Kingston. He is expected to make his debut on a line with David Wolf and Drew Shore.
