Couturier will miss at least two weeks with a Costochondral separation.

Couturier was forced to leave Friday's game with a mid-body injury and did not return. An MRI on Saturday revealed a Costochondral separation, which sounds horribly painful (Google it). Missing two weeks will cost Couturier at least the next seven games. While this is a brutal blow for the Flyers they have some of the best centre depth in the NHL and are built to withstand this loss.

Couturier left Friday’s game and will get an MRI on his shoulder on Saturday.

Couturier was forced to leave Friday’s win over the Penguins with a shoulder injury and will get an MRI on Sunday to reveal the severity of the damage. The Flyers are off until Monday, so he may not miss time if it isn’t too serious but expect the Flyers to provide an update in the next 48 hours.

Couturier is questionable for Game 6 vs. the Islanders.

Couturier was hurt in a collision with Mathew Barzal late in the second period and did not return for the third. Head coach Alain Vigneault did not have an update on Couturier's status on Wednesday but said that he was "still being evaluated." Consider Couturier a game-time decision for Game 6.

Couturier (lower-body) is expected to return to the Flyers lineup on Wednesday.

Couturier has missed the last two games but is expected to play Wednesday in Calgary. Couturier has played 91% of his 5v5 ice-time with Claude Giroux this season but will start the night as the second-line centre with Michael Raffl and Jakub Voracek on his wings. Couturier has 10 goals and 10 assists (20 points) in 26 games this season.

Couturier (knee) is expected to return to the Flyers’ lineup on Wednesday.

Couturier has missed the last 16 games because of an MCL sprain, but it looks like he will be back in the lineup on Wednesday. The Flyers’ two-way centre is expected to slide back into his spot on the second line and comes into play with eight points (5G / 3A) in 20 games this season. Monitor Couturier’s status during the morning skate.

Couturier (knee) is targeting December 28th for a return to the lineup.

Couturier has been sidelined with a sprained MCL but has been working out on the ice recently and expects to be back after the Christmas break and before the New Year kicks in. Couturier’s two-way game will help a Flyers team that is already playing very well. He scored five goals with three assists (eight points) in 20 games before getting hurt.
