It looks like he will make his fourth straight start tonight and he enters play with a 2.01 GAA and .927 SV% in his first three outings. He draws a good matchup tonight with the Flames in town.

Bobrovsky has started the season 2-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .938 SV%, despite having an injury ravaged lineup playing in front of him. He will try to make it three in a row tonight when he takes on Dallas--a team he was 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .955 SV% against last season.
Bobrovsky allowed a single goal on 22 shots in a win over the Sabres in the season opener. Tonight, Bob gets the nod in the Blue Jackets home opener against a Rangers team who are starting their backup. Bob was 1-2 with a 2.61 GAA and .925 SV% against the Rangers a season ago.
Bobrovsky saw a ton of rubber in the preseason. He faced 134 shots, more than any other netminder and posted a 3-1 record with a 1.92 GAA and .948 SV%. The Blue Jackets will need him to be that sharp to start the season because their lineup is really depleted due to injuries, but Goalie Bob should be up for the task. He draws a nice matchup for Game 1 vs. the Sabres.

Bobrovsky won't win back-to-back Vezina Trophies, but he still had a really strong season. He won a career-high 32 games with a 2.38 GAA and .923 SV%. Bobrovsky carried the Blue Jackets to their second playoff berth in franchise history. They are still searching for their first postseason victory after being swept by Detroit in 2008-09.

With the Maple Leafs, Devils and Capitals breathing down their necks, Columbus will not take any chances and make sure their number-1 goalie is between the pipes tonight vs. the Isles.
Bobrovsky is coming off of a 37-save shutout against the Flyers last night, but will start again tonight vs. the Blackhawks. It was Bob's fourth shutout of the season, and they will continue to ride him as they chase a playoff berth. Bobrovsky was pulled in his only start vs. Chicago this season, but this time around their is no Toews or Kane in the Hawks lineup.
Bobrovsky allowed three goals 28 shots in a 3-2 OT loss to the Avalanche on Tuesday. He has lost his last three starts despite allowing just seven goals on 91 shots (.923 SV%). He made 26 saves in a 5-2 win over the Flyers in their first meeting.
After missing the last eight periods of hockey, Bobrovsky will return to the crease tonight vs. the Avalanche. He finished March at 7-4-1 with a 2.15 GAA and .928 SV%. He is the Blue Jackets most consistent performer and they will need him to come up big over the next two weeks if they are going to make the playoffs.
Bobrovsky has been battling an illness over the last week, but it looks like he is ready to return tomorrow. The Blue Jacekts will make a final decision after the morning skate.
Bobrovsky did not dress on Friday, but will travel to Carolina and could be back in the crease tonight. He was reportedly feeling better on Friday, so as long as he continues to progress, he should draw the start in a must-win game for the Blue Jackets. Blue Jackets head coach Todd Richards is expected to address the media at 4:30 pm ET, Bob's status will be known then.
