Bobrovsky has won three straight outings including a win in relief of Steve Mason. In those three starts he posted an outstanding 0.70 GAA and .973 SV%. He has a tough matchup today vs. the Red Wings who are 3-0-1 in their last four.
Sergei Bobrovsky News
Bobrovsky has had two great games in a row so there is no surprise that he will be back between the pipes tonight. He relieved Steve Mason in the Blue Jackets last game after he allowed three goals on eight shots. Bobrovsky came in and stopped all 21 shots that he faced and lead Columbus back to a 4-3 shootout win.
Bobrovsky has only won one of his last four starts with a 2.99 GAA and .901 SV% but has a decent matchup today vs. the Avalanche.
Bobrovsky is 3-6-2 with a 2.71 GAA and .902 SV% so far in his first season as a Blue Jacket. Bobrovsky has actually played well this season but the team in front of him is not very strong. Columbus is without Brandon Dubinsky, Artem Anisimov and Jack Johnson right now which is really going to hurt Bobrovsky's chance of recording wins. He has a decent matchup against a Stars team that is playing their third game in four days.
Bobrovsky is coming off a 3-2 win in Detroit, but has a tough test tonight against the Blues.
Bobrovsky has lost his last five starts and the Blue Jackets have lost 6 of their last 7. Bobrovsky is not a good fantasy option. He has a decent matchup tonight against a Red Wings team that is 0-2-2 in their last four, but even still... The Blue Jackets are not a good enough team to warrant Bobrovsky fantasy value.
Bobrovsky has lost four straight starts coming into tonight. And it could very likely be five straight as he has a tough matchup against the Ducks.
Bobrovsky has lost 3 straight starts in ugly fashion. He has a 4.06 GAA and .833 SV% in his lat 3. Columbus is taking on the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings tonight. I wouldn't recommend Bobrovsky as a fantasy starter tonight.
Bobrovsky isn't a great fantasy option because the Blue Jackets aren't going to win a lot of games. Bobrovsky has lost his last two games allowing 7 goals on just 41 shots. Look elsewhere for your starting fantasy net-minder.
Neither Bobrovsky or Mason has really played all that well this season. Bobrovsky hasn't played since he was yanked for giving up 3 goals on 11 shots vs. St. Louis on Jan. 31. He will look to rebound tomorrow vs. the Flames.

Bobrovsky is 2-1-1 with a 2.40 GAA and .922 SV%, pretty solid numbers but he just won't get you many wins. And tonight against the Blues isn't a good matchup for him.
Bobrovsky is 1-1-1 with a 2.85 GAA and .913 SV% and is coming off a 4-0 loss in which he saved 24 of 28 shots that he faced. He'll take on a 2-2-1 Dallas squad tonight.
Bobrovsky appears to have won the starting job in Columbus over Steve Mason. He has been very good this season (1-0-1, 2.31 GAA, .934 SV%). The Blue Jackets have been playing better than people expected, if they continue this play Bobrovsky could be worth a fantasy look.
Bobrovsky isn't officially the #1 in Columbus yet but after making 32 saves in Nashville for the Shootout win, and now the Blue Jackets going back to him today.... Looks like he is well on his way. CBJ needs to keep winning to make Bobrovsky fantasy relevant, but keep an eye on him.
Bobrovsky earns the opening night start over Steve Mason
Neither goalie is a great fantasy option because Columbus doesn't figure to be very competitive this season. However Bobrovsky had one of the KHL's best G.A.A. during the lockout. So keep an eye on his numbers.
Currently, Bobrovsky is coming off of a sophomore slump as Bryzgalov's backup but Columbus offers a new opportunity for him in a starting role or as a platoon. Who that platoon could be with is still to be determined.
In eight career appearances against the Penguins, Bobrovsky has a 5-2-1 record with a 2.68 GAA and .916 SV%.
In seven career appearances against the Pens, Bob has a 4-2-1 record with a 2.48 GAA and .916 SV%.
