Cam Fowler was injured on Sunday, so the Ducks have recalled Theodore and he could make his NHL debut on Tuesday. The 2013 first round pick has recorded 16 points (4G / 12A) in 27 games with San Diego this season.
Theodore did not appear in a game during his call up, but he did get three practices in with the NHL squad, which should go a long way in his development.
Theodore was recalled as a precaution in advance of Tuesday’s game. His services were not needed and Josh Manson (illness) should be healthy enough to play on Thursday, so they have sent Theodore back to San Diego.
