Oshie was originally listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, but took part in the morning skate and will play tonight against the Penguins. Oshie has been hot as of late, picking up five goals and four assists (nine points) in his last nine games.
Oshie was a full participant in Monday’s practice and it looks like he’ll be back in tonight after a six-game absence. Oshie, who has 10 goals and 13 assists (23 points) in 28 games this season, will play on the second line with Jakub Vrana and Evgeny Kuznetsov.
Oshie was injured in Monday’s win over the Sharks and will not play tonight vs. the Blackhawks. With Oshie out, Alex Chiasson will move up to the Capitals second line and Chandler Stephenson will draw back into the lineup.
Oshie left midway through the second period in the Capitals win over the Sharks last night. Oshie had his head crushed into the corner boards by Joe Thornton and will be re-evaluated on Tuesday. Oshie is a question mark for Wednesday’s game vs. the Blackhawks.
In 2016-17, Oshie set a new career-high with 33 goals despite missing 14 games with a pair of upper-body injuries. Oshie tied for the team-lead in goals and ranked fifth in points (56), making it the fifth straight (full 82 game) season that he has topped 50 points. The American-born winger will turn 31-years-old in December, so the Capitals have him locked up at $5.75M per season until he is 39, which is quite an investment.
Oshie has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury, but will return to the lineup against the Flyers on Saturday. Oshie was hurt against the Flyers on February 22nd, but will be back with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom on the top line tonight. Oshie had a great month of February before getting hurt, recording six goals and five assists (11 points) in nine games.
Oshie will miss his third consecutive game with an upper-body injury that he suffered last Wednesday in Philadelphia. With Oshie out and Zach Sanford traded yesterday, Jakub Vrana is up from Hershey (AHL) and will be in the lineup tonight.
Oshie missed last night’s game vs. the Oilers and did not travel to Nashville for Saturday’s game because of an upper-body injury. With Oshie out, Brett Connolly is expected to skate on the top line and Riley Barber is expected to remain in the lineup. Oshie is day-to-day.
Oshie left the team to deal with a personal matter, so he won’t play in New Jersey on Thursday and is expected to be replaced by Chandler Stephenson up front. Look for Oshie to be ready to go when the Capitals return from the All-Star break.

Oshie will skate on a line with Nicklas Backstrom and Marcus Johansson and comes in with eight goals and four assists (12 points) in 17 games this season. Activate him in all formats.
Oshie will miss his seventh straight game with an upper-body injury, which mean Jakub Vrana will remain in the lineup vs. the Sabres.

Oshie played just 2:34 before leaving Friday’s win in Detroit. Oshie was hurt in an attempt to hit Red Wings’ forward Riley Sheahan and it sounds like the upper-body injury will keep Oshie sidelined for at least a couple of weeks.
Oshie was considered to be taking maintenance day this morning, but is listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s game in Philadelphia. Oshie returned to the lineup on Monday after missing the two previous games with an illness. There is no word whether or not this is related to that illness.
