Rask allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Bruins win in Los Angeles on Saturday. Rask has won each of his first five starts in February, posting a 1.98 GAA, .925 SV% and one shutout in the process. Rask has not faced the Sharks yet this season but has gone 8-4-2 with a 2.44 GAA and .922 SV% on the road.

Rask and Jaroslav Halak have been alternating games recently, so tonight will be just his fifth start in February. Rask has won four in a row while posting a 1.98 GAA, .926 SV% and one shutout.He is a must-start against a Kings team that has lost three straight and sit dead last in the Western Conference.

Rask missed Tuesday’s game against the Jets but was on the ice for Wednesday’s practice and is expected to be available for Thursday’s game. Monitor Rask’s status during the Bruins morning skate to see if he will start or backup Jaroslav Halak.
Rask was forced to leave the Bruins game vs. the Rangers back on January 19th following a collision with Filip Chytil in which Rask sustained a concussion. The Bruins moved him to IR and turn things over the Jaroslav Halak in the immediate future. Zane McIntyre has been recalled from Providence (AHL) to serve as Halak’s backup on Tuesday.

The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for Rask, who comes into Thursday’s game at 7-4-1 with a 2.18 GAA, .921 SV% and one shutout on home-ice this season. He faces a Blues team that is heating up, winning three of their last four (3-0-1).

Tonight he faces the Canadiens for the third time this season—he is 1-1-0 with a 2.04 GAA and .927 SV% in the first two meetings of the year.
Rask made 31 saves on 32 shots in the Bruins win over the Sabres on Saturday. Rask has been great in his last three outings, winning all three while stopping 93 of 98 shots (.949 SV%). He comes into Tuesday’s game at 6-4-0 with a 2.32 GAA and .919 SV% at the TD Garden.
