Jost will head to the press box yet again Tuesday after being a healthy scratch for the Wilds' last two games. The seven-year veteran has struggled this season, collecting three assists and a -4 plus/minus along with 10 SOG through 11 games played at the bottom of Minnesota's lineup.
Tyson Jost will head to the press box Friday after playing only 9:35 TOI in the Wilds' previous game vs. Anaheim. The seven-year veteran has struggled this season, collecting three assists and a -4 plus/minus along with 10 SOG through 11 games played at the bottom of Minnesota's lineup.
Jost will be a healthy scratch for the first time in 2022-23 after putting up one assist and six SOG in his first six games for the Wild to start the season. He has struggled defensively as shown by his -5 plus/minus rating prior to being sent to the press box.
Jost missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but he is expected to play Friday vs. the Kraken. Mitchell Chaffee was sent back to Iowa (AHL) to make room for Jost.
Jost will miss his third straight game on Thursday but he's expected to play Friday vs. the Kraken. Jost has scored one goal with three assists (four points) in 16 games since joining the Wild.
Jost was acquired from the Avalanche on Tuesday and will make his Wild debut vs. the Bruins. Jost will start on the fourth line with Nick Bjugstad and Brandon Duhaime. Jost has just 14 points (6G / 8A) in 59 games this season and 103 points (45G / 58A) in 321 career NHL games.
Jost was selected No.10 overall in 2016 but has struggled to produce offensively, largely due to his role. Jost has played primarily as a bottom-6 forward this season due to the impressive depth in Colorado. Jost could play a more offensive role in Minnesota and heads there with six goals and eight assists (14 points) in 59 games this season.
Jost has come off of the COVID-19 reserve list but skated as a 13th forward in Friday's practice, so it's unclear whether or not he will play on Saturday.
