Bogosian missed his third straight contest on Thursday after being injured on November 15. His placement on IR is retroactive to the 15th, which means he is eligible to return whenever he is healthy. But while Redmond drew into the lineup, it was Keaton Ellerby who took Bogosian's customary position with Toby Enstrom against the Wild.

Bogosian will make his season debut tonight vs. Pittsburgh. He will play on the Jets 2nd D-pairing with Ron Hainsey. Bogosian had 30 points in 65 last year so he could be a good waiver wire pickup for the rest of this season.
This is great news for the Jets, Bogosian had 5 G, 25 A, -3 and 117 hits in 65 games last season. The young blueliner will be a welcomed return to a Jets blueline that already has Tobias Enstrom (2G, 11A, -3, 6PPP) and Dustin Byfuglien (3G, 4A, +1, 4PPP). Bogosian will likely take a few games to get back into game shape but he would be a good pickup because of his offensive upside.
