Rask is projected to start Wednesday vs. the Canadiens.

Rask allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Bruins shootout win in Montreal last Saturday. Anton Khudobin got the nod on Sunday, so they’ll go right back to Rask tonight vs. the Canadiens. Rask continues to play great and tonight he faces a Montreal team that has lost seven of their last nine (2-5-2).

Tuukka Rask
Bergeron (undisclosed) will be in the Bruins lineup on Saturday.

Bergeron was a little nicked up in the Bruins final game before their bye week but was never in any real danger of missing time. Bergeron was back in his usual spot in Friday’s practice and Saturday’s morning skate so look for him to continue his recent stretch of strong play tonight in Montreal—he has six goals and two assists in his last four games.

Patrice Bergeron
Rask will start Saturday in Montreal.

Rask gave up six goals on 35 shots in the Bruins loss in Pittsburgh last Sunday. It was a rare bad game for Rask, who had won nine of 10 entering that game—allowing just 13 goals over that stretch. Rask has taken his game to another level as of late and draws a good matchup vs. the Canadiens, who he’s had a tough time against in his career.

The Blue Jackets have recalled Joonas Korpisalo from Cleveland (AHL).

The Blue Jackets had a few days off so Korpisalo went down to get a start because Sergei Bobrovsky is on a roll right now. Korpisalo stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 1-0 loss to Milwaukee (AHL)—Juuse Saros was doing the same thing for the Predators and he stopped all 27 shots that he faced in a great AHL goaltending duel.

The Blue Jackets have assigned Joonas Korpisalo to Cleveland (AHL).

Korpisalo has sat for the last four games and eight of the last nine games so he heads to Cleveland to get some playing time. Korpisalo returning to the AHL for now, suggests that Sergei Bobrovsky could start both games of their back-to-back on Thursday/Friday.
