Krejci (knee) skated in the morning skate on Tuesday; expected to miss at least one more week.

Krejci is three weeks into a 4-6 week timetable. He will not play tonight, but Krejci said he is close to returning to the lineup. The Bruins have three more games this week, so continue to monitor his status as the week progresses.

Rask stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Bruins 2-0 shutout win over the Penguins yesterday. Despite the heavy workload yesterday, he will start his fourth straight game tonight. He has won four in a row and five of his last six while posting a 1.45 GAA and .955 SV%.

Rask allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Bruins win over the Lightning on Thursday. Rask has won three in a row while posting a 1.61 GAA and .954 SV%. Today he faces a Penguins team he is 1-0-1 with a 2.44 GAA and .931 SV% against this season.

Rask made 39 stops on 40 shots in the Bruins 3-1 win over the Senators on Tuesday. He was on another level on Tuesday and will look to carry that into tonight’s meeting with the Lightning. Rask won his only start vs. Tampa bay this season and has gone 18-8-5 with a 2.04 GAA and .929 SV% at home.

Krejci (knee) returned to the ice on Wednesday.

Krejci is nearly three weeks into a 4-6 week timetable. Today was the first time he has skated since the injury, which is a great sign for the Bruins. The Bruins are sitting in a playoff spot right now, so they will not rush him back, to make sure he is ready for the postseason.

Rask allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Bruins 3-2 OT win over the Flyers on Saturday. He was given Sunday afternoon off, but will be back in tonight in Ottawa. Rask has gone 1-0-2 with a 2.26 GAA and .919 SV% in three starts against the Senators this season.

He has registered a strong 2.35 GAA and .920 SV% this season, but that has only translated into 25 wins in 53 starts. Today he starts against a Flyers team he is 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .956 SV% against this year.

Rask stayed at the team hotel this morning because he is battling the flu. If he is unable to play tonight, he will not even dress. The Bruins recalled Jeremy Smith from Providence, so either Rask, Smith or Niklas Svedberg will start—however coach Claude Julien would not announce who will start.
