Lindholm is expected to be loaned to Sweden to play in the World Junior Championships.

Hurricanes head coach Kirk Muller says they are going to sit down with Lindholm to make a final decision, but it appears as if it is a guarantee that Lindholm will join the Swedish National team on December 22. He has three goals and four assists in 21 games with Carolina.

Rask was fantastic allowed one goal on 44 shots in a win over the Rangers on Tuesday. There was talk of potentially giving Chad Johnson the start, but I'm sure Claude Julien is happy he went with Rask. He is fifth in wins (12), third in GAA (1.61) and second in SV% (.946) - he is safe to deploy, regardless of his matchup.
