Boston Bruins News

Just from talking to Stralman Saturday, I don't think he will play tmrw vs. NYI. Think Sat in MTL more realistic option. #NYR

It was originally believed that Stralman would replace Jeff Woywitka but the latter has been relatively serviceable. If you own Stralman, consider waiting for a few more games before inserting him into your lineup.

Barring a sudden injury, Anton Stralman won't play vs Caroilina. Needs more understanding of system

As we previously explained, Stralman will not play for at least more one game as he acclimates to a completely new system. Once inserted look for him on the second PP unit.

Anton Stralman skated on his own today at #MSG Practice facility. Will be on ice for team's practice tomorrow.

Stralman probably gets into a game at some point next week after practicing and watching the team from the press box. He may add some value to the team's power play.

Anton Stralman
After spending recent wks back home in his native Sweden, Anton Stralman is now in NY. Probably won't play until next wknd, Wed at earliest

Barring any injury, Stralman should play on the bottom pairing and get some power play time. Look for some growing pains as he adapts to coach John Tortorella and his unique playing system.

Lucic-Horton-Krejci reunited.

After toiling on the third line for most of the season, Krejci moves back to the top line that helped carry the Bruins to the Stanley Cup. Despite scoring only one goal over his first six games this season, the Czech pivot posted 13 goals and 62 points over 75 games.

David Krejci
David Krejci, out with a core injury for the last three games, guessed he was 50-50 for tomorrow’s game against Toronto. Krejci practiced on the third line with Jordan Caron, Benoit Pouliot, and Rich Peverley. If Krejci can’t play, Peverley will most likely center the No. 3 line tomorrow.

Certainly good news for the team's number one center. Stay tuned for a further update...

David Krejci
David Krejci on the ice for #Bruins during morning skate for first time in nearly a week, but Claude Julien labeled him doubtful yesterday

Krejci did not practice with his normal line but his presence on the ice indicates he is actually day-to-day. Look for him to continue progressing with the chance that he could draw back in within the next week.
