Jokiharju was a late scratch from Tuesday's game, with Sabres head coach Don Granato only hinting that "someone" was feeling under the weather when talking to the media earlier in the day. Jokiharju is off to a relatively productive start to his 2023-24 season, registering two goals and five assists across the first 15 games. Ryan Johnson will draw into the lineup in place of Jokiharju.

Wahlstrom, along with Julien Gauthier, will draw back into the Islanders lineup on Monday as Matt Martin and Hudson Fasching will both be healthy scratches. Wahlstrom, who will likely skate on the third line alongside Anders Lee and Jean-Gabriel Pageau, has only one point (1G / 0A) in seven games this season.

McAvoy was suspended for four games following a hit to the head on October 30th but he's eligible to return to the lineup vs. Montreal. McAvoy was back on the top power-play unit in Friday's practice and enters play with eight points (2G / 6A) in nine games this season.

Korpisalo allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Senators win in Toronto on Wednesday. The win snapped a two-game losing skid for Korpisalo, who has given up at least three goals in six of eight starts this season (.902 SV%). On Saturday, he'll face a Flames team that lost in a shootout in Toronto last night and have dropped seven of their last nine games.

Lauko is set to return for the Bruins on Saturday after missing the last seven games with a facial fracture. On October 24th, Lauko took a skate to the face and was forced to leave the game after playing 9:13. The Czech forward has zero points, six shots, and a -4 plus/minus rating through six games this season.

Wotherspoon recorded one point (0G / 1A), averaging 13:51 time-on-ice in three games with the Bruins. His reassignment to Providence (AHL) signals the team will welcome back Charlie McAvoy from his four-game suspension on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens.

Lauko unfortunately took a skate to the face vs. Chicago on October 24th and has missed the last six games before being activated from the injured reserve Thursday. The 23-year-old centre had struggled prior to his injury, as he is pointless with six SOG, six PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through six games so far this season.

Geekie finished Monday night's contest against the Dallas Stars but suffered an upper-body injury at some point that will keep him out of the lineup on a week-to-week basis and has been placed on the injured reserve. Geekie is averaging a career-high 14:15 time-on-ice through 12 games this season, tallying three points (1G / 2A). The Bruins, who have several long-term injuries at the moment, will hope to welcome back Jakub Lauko in the near future.
