The 23-year-old netminder made four of four stops in a relief role of Linus Ullmark before the injury caused him to leave the crease. He will be evaluated on Thursday for further updates. In four games played this season, he has a 2-1-0 record to go along with his .878 SV% and 3.45 GAA.

Regula was recalled from the Rockford Ice Hogs (AHL) after it was announced Tuesday that star defenseman Seth Jones will be heading to the injured reserve. Regula only played one game his previous time up with Chicago, pick up two PIMs across 17:15 TOI.
Krejci missed the Bruins' last game Friday due to an upper-body injury and it was announced Monday he would be placed on the injured reserve. Krejci was enjoying a resurgent comeback after taking last season off, with eight points (2G/6A) in his first eight games to start the 2022-23 season.
McAvoy was surprisingly on the ice in a non-contact jersey Monday after missing all of the 2022-23 season so far due to off-season shoulder surgery. It was a nice surprise as McAvoy was not expected back until closer to the new year. McAvoy enjoyed a breakout season in 2021-22, reaching double-digit goals (10) for the first time while putting up 56 points (10G/46A) in 78 games played.
Marchand is just returning from offseason hip surgery and will likely need a night's rest after returning almost a month ahead of schedule for the Bruins' 5-1 victory last night. Marchand did not miss a beat as he had two goals and an assist while playing 17:31 TOI. He will be back in the Bruins' lineup their next time out as this is nothing more than a day of rest.
Krejci took a hearing-worthy high stick in Thursday night's victory from Michael Rasmussen of the Detroit Red Wings. The 36-year-old veteran had been enjoying a resurgent return to the NHL after taking last season off, collecting eight points (2G/6A) in his first eight games back.
Korpisalo will head to Cleveland (AHL) for a conditioning start vs. Syracuse Saturday. From there it is expected that the 28-year-old will head up to Columbus to back up Elvis Merzlikins. Through seven career seasons, he has 76 wins in 164 starts while posting a .902 SV% and 3.04 GAA.
Johnson suffered a right ankle injury vs. the Panthers on Tuesday and will miss at least one week after landing on IR. The Blackhawks have not released a timetable for his return. Jujhar Khaira moved up into the Blackhawks' top-6 in Thursday's practice.
Swaymans last start came over a week ago when he allowed six goals on 25 shots (.760 SV%) in a 7-5 loss to Ottawa. The 23-year-old netminder has struggled early on this season, posting a 5.40 GAA along with a .816 SV% while essentially losing the starting goalie battle to Linus Ullmark. He will face a Detroit team who is coming off a 6-2 loss Tuesday to New Jersey but has scored at a very efficient rate this season, ranking fifth in the NHL in GF/GP (3.67).
Yesterday the Bruins said that Marchand would not play the next two games, but Marchand will be in the lineup vs. Detroit on Thursday. The Bruins said he will not play in the back-to-back set, so he'll sit Friday in Columbus. Marchand will debut on a line with Patrice Bergeron and Jake DeBrusk.
Kastelic was a fifth-round pick in 2019 and has been a fixture on the Senators' fourth line this season, collecting two goals in six games.

Stralman was eligible to play in Canada on Tuesday but will not be available for Thursday's game vs. the Ducks. Luckily for the Bruins, Matt Grzelcyk (shoulder) is set for his season debut to replace Stralman.
