Soderblom will start in New York on Thursday.

The Blackhawks will start Soderblom a third consecutive game on Thursday when they visit the New York Islanders. The 25-year-old Soderblom has been solid in limited action this season, posting an impressive 2.41 GAA and .921 SV% in nine games (2-6-1). The Blackhawks enter Thursday's contest as +167 road underdogs against an Islanders club that has lost three of their last five (2-2-1).

Martinez was limited to only 13:53 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury on Saturday and will be replaced by Kevin Korchinski on Monday. The 37-year-old Martinez is averaging 20:05 time-on-ice, recording four points (1G / 3A), 38 blocks, and four hits in 15 games.

After appearing in 76 NHL games a season ago, Korchinski had a disappointing training camp and began the 2024-25 season in Rockford. The 20-year-old Korchinski has 11 points (2G / 9A) in 21 games with the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) this season. Alex Martinez (undisclosed) will draw out of the lineup to accommodate Korchinski's season debut.

For only the second time this season, Soderblom will start consecutive games for the Blackhawks. Despite a less-than-ideal 1-5-1 record through seven games, Soderblom has been solid in a limited role for the Blackhawks this season, posting a solid 2.46 GAA and .919 SV%. The Blackhawks have lost five straight and enter Monday's contest as sizeable +215 road underdogs against a New York Rangers club that has lost seven on their previous nine outings (2-7-0).

The Panthers enter Thursday's contest as -185 road favorites against a Philadelphia Flyers club riding a three-game winning streak.

The 23-year-old Knight is sporting a solid 2.31 GAA and .911 SV% in nine appearances this season (4-4-0), outplaying counterpart Sergei Bobrovsky's 3.04 GAA and .890 SV% in 17 games (11-5-1). The Panthers, riding a three-game winning streak, enter the action on Tuesday as -170 road favorites against a Pittsburgh Penguins club also riding a three-game winning streak.

Nolan Allan will return from a three-game absence, sending Crevier to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old Crevier has been limited to only four games this season, averaging 16:07 time-on-ice, recording one point (1G / 0A) and a -2 plus/minus.

The 25-year-old Soderblom has been limited to only six games this season (1-4-0), as a result of strong play from starting netminder Petr Mrazek, despite posting a solid 2.36 GAA and .926 SV%. The Blackhawks enter Monday's contest as significant +358 road underdogs against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
