Johnson's 2021 campaign is over after undergoing sports hernia-related surgery. With Johnson out, Libor Hajek has become a regular on the Rangers' blueline and they could look for outside at the deadline to bolster their depth.
Fabbro was suspended for two games for elbowing Brock McGinn o the Hurricanes but is set to return to the lineup on Monday. Fabbro, who has two goals and seven assists (nine points) in 26 games this season, will most likely skate in the top-4 with Ben Harpur.
