Nugent-Hopkins (illness) practiced on Friday and is expected to play on Saturday.

Nugent-Hopkins missed the Oilers' final game before the Christmas break with an illness but was back on the ice for Friday's practice. Nugent-Hopkins was back on a line with Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman, an indication that he'll play Saturday in Los Angeles. The veteran forward heads into Saturday with nine points (4G / 5A) and 22 SOG in his last 11 games.

Walman (lower-body) will remain out vs. Vegas on Friday and is considered day-to-day.

Walman will miss a second consecutive game on Friday due to a lower-body injury. The 28-year-old Walman is having a tremendous 2024-25 campaign, with 25 points (5G / 20A) in 31 games. He has 23 points (5G / 18A) in his last 22 games.

Ryan will be a healthy scratch vs. Boston on Thursday.

With Viktor Arvdisson (lower body) returning from a 15-game absence, Ryan will be sent to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 37-year-old Ryan is averaging 9:29 time-on-ice, a career-low, and has four points (1G / 3A) in 29 games.

Arvidsson (lower-body) will return to Edmonton's lineup in Nashville on Thursday.

Arvidsson has not played since November 12th, missing 15 games with undisclosed injury, but will return to the lineup on Thursday against the Boston Bruins. The 31-year-old Arvidsson has five points (2G / 3A) in 16 games this season. He will play on the third line alongside Adam Henrique and Connor Brown.

Skinner struggled in the Oilers' most recent game, allowing six goals on 28 shots (.786 SV%) in a 6-5 loss to the Florida Panthers, but will return to the crease on Thursday against the Boston Bruins. The 26-year-old Skinner has a 2.98 GAA and .892 SV% in 21 games this season (11-8-2). The Oilers enter Thursday's contest as -176 home favorites against a Bruins club riding a two-game winning streak.

Skinner has put together several strong performances and will return to the crease for the Oilers on Monday against the Florida Panthers.
