Pickard will start on Saturday vs. Dallas.

After their franchise-best 16-game win streak ended on February 6th, the Oilers have lost two of four (2-2-0), including a disappointing 6-3 loss to the St. Louis Blue on Thursday with Stuart Skinner between the pipes, and will turn to Pickard on Saturday afternoon. Pickard last played on February 9th, saving 24 of 27 shots (.889 SV%) in a 5-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The 31-year-old Pickard will attempt to extend his win streak to six games against the Dallas Stars.

Arvidsson (back) will make his season debut on Thursday.

The veteran winger has not played a game yet this season after being placed on injured reserve in mid-October. After several down seasons, Arvidsson has refound his game as a Los Angeles King, scoring 108 points (46G / 62A) in 143 games over the previous two seasons. He returned to practice last week and will make his season debut on Thursday night after being activated off the Injured Reserve earlier in the day.

Skinner will start on Thursday vs. St. Louis.

Skinner snapped a two-game losing skid on Tuesday and will return to the crease on Thursday night. Skinner has allowed three or more goals in two straight contests (1-1-0) after previously going 12 without allowing more than (11-1-0). The Oilers are sizeable -224 home favourites against a St. Louis Blue team coming off a 4-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday night.

Skinner will start on Tuesday vs. Detroit.

After a franchise-best 16-game winning streak, the Oilers have lost two of their last three contests, both with Skinner between the pipes. Pickard will start on Friday in Anaheim.

The Oilers' franchise-best 16-game winning streak ended on Tuesday with a 3-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights, but they will attempt to get back into the win column with Pickard between the pipes on Friday. Pickard has been reliable when called upon between the pipes this season, including a 27-save shutout in his last outing, a 3-0 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks. Pickard and the Oilers have another favourable matchup on Friday as -266 road favourites against the Anaheim Ducks, fourth-worst in the league offensively (2.56 GF / GP).

Skinner will start Tuesday in Vegas.

Skinner will start a monumental game for the Oilers, their first game back from the All-Star break, as they search for their 17th straight victory. Skinner saved 28 of 29 shots (.966 SV%) in his last outing and has been nearly unbeatable during the Oilers' 16-game winning streak, allowing more than two goals only once and posting a tremendous .950 SV% in 12 contests (12-0-0). Kane missed Sunday's practice due to illness.

The Edmonton Oilers returned from All-Star break Sunday and were missing forward Evander Kane from Practice due to illness. The 32-year-old left-winger is considered day-to-day with Edmonton taking on Vegas on the road on Tuesday. Despite what may seem like a down year with 15 goals, 29 points, and 54 PIMs in 44 games played; Kane has set a new career high in games played in a campaign with Edmonton, surpassing his previous high of 43 from two seasons ago.
