Bobrovsky will start on Thursday in Carolina.

Bobrovsky will start for the third straight game on Thursday as the Panthers look to extend their six-game winning streak. Bobrovsky has been tremendous lately, posting a stellar .944 SV% during a seven-game winning streak while allowing two or fewer goals in each contest. That said, the Panthers are slight +102 road underdogs against the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night.

Ekblad (lower body) will draw back into the Panthers' lineup on Tuesday.

Ekblad did not play in the Panthers' dominating 9-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday due to a lower-body injury but will re-enter the lineup on Tuesday night against the Ottawa Senators. After a four-point night on January 19th, Ekblad has been held without a point in eight of his last nine games.

Bobrovsky will return to the crease for the fifth time in the last six games for the Panthers on Tuesday night. The All-Star netminder is riding a six-game winning streak and has been sensational throughout, allowing two or fewer goals in each contest and posting a marvellous .946 SV%. The Panthers have a favourable matchup on Tuesday against the Ottawa Senators, whom Bobrovsky made a 20-save shutout against earlier this season.

Bjornfot has been reassigned to Henderson (AHL) on a long-term injury conditioning loan.

Bjornfit has been out of the lineup and on Injured Reserve since January 10th and will report to the Henderson Silver Knights of the AHL for a conditioning stint. Before his injury, Bjornfot played three games for the Golden Knights, recording two hits and five blocks while averaging 12:44 time-on-ice.

Bobrovsky will start on Wednesday in Pittsburgh.

With the Panthers starting their first leg of a back-to-back Wednesday in Pittsburgh, Sergei Bobrovsky will take the crease for his third-straight start. The 35-year-old Vezina Trophy winner has been lights out when called upon in his fifth season with Florida, with his 25-10-2 record, 2.43 GAA, and .913 SV%. He heads to Pittsburgh to take on the struggling Penguins, who have lost five of their last seven games and are currently 24th in the NHL in goals per game (2.9) despite being fifth in SOG/GP (33.3).

The Blue Jackets have activated Adam Boqvist (upper-body) from IR.

Boqvist has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury but is available to play Saturday vs. the Lightning after being activated from IR. Boqvist has yet to fid the back of the net this season, but has seven assists and 23 SOG in 20 games.

Boqvist missed the Blue Jackets' previous three games due to an upper-body after taking a puck high but is likely to return Saturday as Columbus takes on Tampa Bay. The 23-year-old has fought injuries all season which has led to an uninspiring no goals, seven assists, 23 SOG, and a -3 plus/minus in 20 games this season.

Bobrovsky will start Thursday vs. Washington.

After participating in the All-Star festivities over the weekend, the Panthers opted to give Bobrovsky the night off in their return to action on Tuesday, a 2-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. Bobrovsky will return to the crease on Thursday, looking to build off his last two performances (2-0-0), in which he saved 66 of 70 shots (.943 SV%). The Panthers are significant -270 home favourites against a Washington Capitals club riding a five-game losing streak (0-4-1).

Nosek (foot) will return to the Devils' lineup Tuesday vs. Colorado.

Nosek has been out since November 18th after a foot injury and subsequent surgery but will return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Colorado Avalanche after being a full participant at the morning skate. The 31-year-old failed to pick up a point in his six games before his injury.

Lockwood (concussion) returned to practice in a regular jersey Tuesday morning but is still without a timetable to return.

After serving a three-game suspension, Lockwood sat out the last game for the Panthers due to a concussion. Through 23 games this season, Lockwood has one point (0G / 1A), 42 hits, and 14 penalty minutes while averaging 8:22 time-on-ice.
