He will face the Dallas Stars, who have lost three of their last four games but are seventh in the NHL in goals (3.43).

The 32-year-old has been having a very solid first season in Washington, with his 12-11-4 record, 2.54 GAA and .918 SV%. He will take on the New York Islanders, who just snapped a four-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Montreal in their last game.

Kuemper allowed three goals on 25 shots (.880 SV%) for his second straight loss as he was defeated by Philadelphia in his previous start.
