Edmundson will rest for the final game of the season vs. Tampa Bay on Wednesday.

Edmundson has played just two games since March 24th due to injury and will take a seat in the press box as he rests for game 82 of the regular season on Wednesday. The 30-year-old was acquired by Toronto at the trade deadline and will end his regular season without a point in nine games with the Maple Leafs but with five SOG and a +3 plus/minus.

The Kings recalled Turcotte (upper-body) from his conditioning loan on Tuesday and activated him off LTIR.

Turcotte has not played since March 19th due to the upper-body injury. Turcotte has four points (1G / 3A) in 20 games this season. Akil Thomas was reassigned to Ontario (AHL) in order to make room for Turcotte on the NHL roster.

Kopitar (undisclosed) is doubtful to play on Monday after missing the Kings' morning skate.

Kopitar did not play on Saturday and could miss a second straight game on Monday against the Minnesota Wild. Kopitar has four points (0G / 2A) in his last three games and 70 points (26G / 44A) in 79 games this season. On Saturday, Pierre-Luc Dubois centred the top line with Quinton Byfield and Adrian Kempe.

Kuemper will start on Friday vs. Carolina.

Kuemper left practice early on Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury but appears good to go as he is scheduled to start on Friday vs. Carolina. The 33-year-old Stanley Cup-winning veteran has struggled in his second season in Washington, with his ugly 13-13-3 record, 3.32 GAA and .888 SV%. He'll be looking to snap Washington's four-game losing streak as he heads to Carolina on Friday, who has won eight of their last 10 games and are eighth in the NHL in goals per game (3.34).
