Zuccarello left the morning skate early and is a question mark for Monday's game, according to head coach Dean Evason. Marco Rossi was scheduled to be a healthy scratch but he would suit up if Zuccarello can't play vs. the Avalanche.

Gustavsson draws the tough matchup of the defending Stanley Cup Champions at home Monday. Minnesota turns to their backup netminder as they continue to look for their first win of the 2022-23 season. Gustavsson will draw his first start of the season after allowing three goals on 20 shots in a relief appearance Saturday in the Wild's 7-6 loss to LA.

Fleury will likely draw the start Monday as Minnesota hosts the defending Stanley Cup Champions at home. It has been a nightmarish start to 2022-23 for Fleury. After allowing seven goals on 35 shots last Thursday, he followed it up by getting pulled on four goals on 14 shots Saturday. The timing could not be worse for the 37-year-old to draw one of the tougher matchups in the NHL as he looks to return to midseason form.

Fleury will look to bounce back after a horrendous opening effort against the New York Rangers on Thursday where he allowed seven goals on 35 shots (.800 SV%). The 37-year-old will draw what should be a much easier matchup as he takes on the Kings at home Saturday.

Shore played 7:04 TOI in the Oilers' season opener, but Kailer Yamamoto and Warren Foegele were back on the ice for practice on Friday, suggesting they'll be back in the lineup on Saturday. So, Shore heads back to the AHL with Philip Broberg taking his spot on the NHL roster.

Fleury will draw the 1-0-0 New York Rangers at home Thursday as the Wild kick off their season. The 37-year-old is entering his 19th NHL season ranking third all-time in goaltender wins (520). After being acquired by the Wild at the trade deadline in 2021-22, Fleury won nine of 11 starts while posting a .910 SV%.

Shore may end up in the Oilers lineup on opening night with both Kailer Yamamoto and Warren Foegele questionable to play. Shore registered 11 points (5G /6A) in 49 games with the Oilers last season.

Nyquist suffered a lower-body injury in Saturday's preseason game is considered day-to-day. Nyquist is expected to be a member of the Blue Jackets' top-6, but if he misses any time, expect someone like Kent Johnson to potentially move up the depth chart.



The Wild selected Ohgren with the No.19 overall pick in this summer's NHL Draft. The 18-year-old winger led Djurgardens Jr (J20 SuperElit) in goals (33) and points (58) in 30 games during thee 2022 season.

Johansson broke into the NHL with the Capitals in 2011 and played with them until 2017. He returned to the team at the trade deadline last season, posting six points (3G / 3A) in 18 games. The 31-year-old will likely serve as a third-liner for them in 2022-23 but he's capable of playing in the top-6 if needed.
