Matt Murray started the last eight games and faced 31 shots last night, so Fleury will go tonight in St. Louis. The 32-year-old netminder has gone 2-5-3 with a 4.06 GAA and .878 SV% in 10 starts and two relief appearances on the road.

Bogosian played just 5:33 TOI before leaving Thursday’s game with a rib issue. Bogosian will miss some time because of the injury, but luckily for the Sabres both Jake McCabe and Josh Gorges are set to return to the lineup on Saturday.

Brodin fractured his finger on Tuesday and after being evaluated it was determined that the Wild blueliner will miss at least one month. With Brodin out, Nate Prosser will draw into the lineup on Thursday.

Brodin will see a hand specialist on Wednesday and will miss a number of weeks, but they will determine whether it will be 2-3 weeks or four-plus weeks. Brodin’s absence leaves the Wild to replace nearly 20 minutes on the back-end; Nate Prosser will likely draw into the lineup on Thursday.



Fleury allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Penguins’ win over the Lightning on Sunday. He has won five consecutive games while turning aside 128 of the last 136 shots that he has faced (.941 SV%). Tonight he starts vs. the Capitals for the second time this season—in the season opener he allowed two goals on 41 shots in a 3-2 shootout win.


Fleury allowed three goals on 40 shots in the Penguins’ win over the Canadiens on New Year’s Eve. After a bye week, Fleury comes back well rested and will take on a banged up Lightning team. The Penguins have won four straight games and Fleury has posted a 1.79 GAA and .943 SV% over that stretch.



Fleury stopped 23 of 24 shots in the Penguins’ win over the Devils on Friday. It was a nice outing for Fleury, who will take on the Devils again tonight. Despite some subpar numbers this season, Fleury plays behind on of the most powerful offences in the league and makes for a solid option when his number is called.




Fleury was pulled after he allowed four goals on 16 shots in the Penguins’ loss to the Senators on December 5th. Matt Murray started the last five games, including last night’s, so Fleury will go tonight in Toronto. Fleury has gone 1-3-2 with a 4.33 GAA and .872 SV% on the road this season.


Fleury allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Penguins’ win over the Red Wings on Saturday. Fleury has won his last two starts while turning aside 61 of 65 shots (.924 SV%), earning him a third straight start. He will be taking on a Senators team that has surprised this season and come in as winners of five of their last seven.
