The Predators have signed Luke Schenn to a three-year deal worth $8.25 million ($2.75M AAV).

The Predators are trying to change their culture, and Schenn's work ethic will help do that. The veteran defenseman had 22 points (4G / 18A) and 318 hits in seven games with the Canucks and Maple Leafs last season.

The Stars signed Matt Murray to a one-year, two-way contract.

Murray played most of the 2023 season in the AHL, where he went 18-10-5 with a 2.37 GAA, .911 SV% and three shutouts with the Texas Stars. However, he also got his first taste of the NHL, going 1-2-0 with a 3.39 GAA and .844 SV% in Dallas. With Jake Oettinger and Scott Wedgewood still under contract for the 2024 season, Murray will most likely start the season in the AHL.

Nyquist (rest) is expected to draw back into the lineup on Thursday.

Nyquist missed the Wilds' previous game due to rest-related reasons but will draw back into the lineup Thursday for the final game of the season. The 33-year-old has 11 goals, 14 assists, 99 SOG, 16 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 50 games between Columbus and Minnesota this season.

Nyquist returned from a lengthy injury absence for a two-game debut with the Wild over the weekend and will be out of the lineup Tuesday for rest related reasons. The 33-year-old has 11 goals, 14 assists, 99 SOG, 16 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus through 50 games between Columbus and Minnesota this season.

Gustav Nyquist
Jake Livingstone will make his NHL debut Thursday vs. Carolina.

Livingstone had eight goals, 27 assists, 30 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus through 39 games with Minnesota State University - Mankato (NCAA) this season and is expected to now make his Nashville debut Thursday vs. Carolina. The 23-year-old defenseman was an undrafted free agent who signed with Nashville last week.

Jake Livingstone
Saros will start Thursday vs. the Hurricanes.

Saros allowed five goals on 26 shots (.808 SV%) for his second loss in three games as he was handed the defeat by the Dallas Stars in his last start. The 27-year-old has been very solid yet again this season for his second-straight 30-win campaign, as he is 30-22-7, with a 2.76 GAA and .916 SV%. He is taking on the Carolina Hurricanes, who have won three-straight contests and are third in the NHL in shots per game (35.0).

Juuse Saros
Ryan O'Reilly (thumb) is expected to rejoin the Maple Leafs' lineup Thursday vs. Boston.

O'Reilly has missed the Maple Leafs' previous 14 games due to a thumb injury and is expected to return to Toronto's lineup Thursday vs. Boston. The 32-year-old has 15 goals, nine assists, 98 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -23 plus/minus through 48 games this season with Toronto and St. Louis.

Ryan O'Reilly
O'Reilly (finger) took part in Tuesday's morning skate but will not play vs. Columbus.

O'Reilly has been out since March 4th due to a finger injury and took part in the Maple Leafs' morning skate Tuesday but is still not ready to return to the lineup. The 32-year-old has 15 goals, nine assists, 98 SOG, 12 PIMs and a -23 plus/minus through 48 games between Toronto and St. Louis this season.

Ryan O'Reilly
Schenn will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.

Schenn has yet to pick up a point through 10 games with the Maple Leafs since being traded for at the Trade Deadline and will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Columbus. The 33-year-old has three goals and 21 points across 65 games played between Toronto and Vancouver this season.
