Bernier allowed three goals on 48 shots in the Avalanche win over the Sharks on Thursday. Bernier is riding a seven-game winning streak, posting an impressive 1.54 GAA, .957 SV% and one shutout. This afternoon he will face a Rangers team that comes in pretty banged up and having lost three of five.

Bernier stopped one goal on 34 shots in Colorado’s win over the Ducks on Monday. Bernier has won six straight games while posting a 1.27 GAA, .962 SV% and one shutout. Bernier has been absolutely outstanding since Semyon Varlamov went down and he will look to win his seventh consecutive game tonight vs. the Sharks.

MacDermid has been in the Kings lineup for the last nine games, but failed to record a point while posting a minus-7 rating. Overall he had just one goal and three assists in 34 games with the Kings, so he will head to Ontario to get some seasoning.

Bernier turned away 27 of 28 shots in Colorado’s win in Dallas on Saturday. Bernier is riding a five-game winning streak, while posting an impressive 1.33 GAA, .960 SV% and one shutout. In his first start against the Ducks this season, Bernier stopped 17 of 18 shots in a 3-1 win, but that was when the Ducks were banged up.



Bernier allowed two goals on 36 shots in Colorado’s win over the Wild last Saturday. Semyon Varlamov (lower-body) still isn’t ready to go after the Avi’ bye week so they will continue to roll with Bernier tonight in Dallas. He has won four in a row with a 1.43 GAA, .959 SV% and one shutout since Varlamov went down and is 1-1-0 with a 2.74 GAA and .892 SV% in two starts vs. the Stars this season.


Markstrom allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Canucks loss in Washington on Tuesday. Markstrom has just one win in his last four starts but it isn’t for a lack of trying—he has posted a solid .919 SV% in those games while facing an average of 35 shots per game. The road has been hard on Markstom this year—he enters Friday at 4-5-3 with a 2.94 GAA and .897 SV% in 13 road appearances this season.


Allen allowed five goals on 38 shots in the Blues loss in Philadelphia on Saturday. Allen has won three straight while posting a 3.67 GAA and .891 SV%. Despite his recent struggles and Carter Hutton’s great season, Allen will get back in the crease tonight after getting Sunday off. Allen allowed five goals on 38 shots in a 5-2 loss in his first start against the Panthers.

Markstrom stopped 34 of 36 shots in the Canucks shootout loss in Toronto on Saturday. Anders Nilsson started the second game of their back-to-back but they’ll come back to Markstrom as their road-trip continues in Washington. Markstrom is 0-2-3 in his last five road starts, posting a 3.48 GAA and .870 SV% in the process.

Bernier extended his personal winning streak to three games, turning aside 82 of the last 85 shots (.965 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he takes on a Wild team that is fully healthy and come in winners of four of five, averaging 3.80 goals for per game.

Allen allowed three goals on 28 shots before leaving in the Blues loss in Dallas on December 29th. Carter Hutton is red-hot so he started the last three games, but Allen will get back in the crease for the front-end of the Blues’ back-to-back. Allen has lost six of his last seven starts while posting a 2.68 GAA and .913 SV%.

Markstrom allowed one goal on eight shots after replacing Anders Nilsson in the Canucks loss to Anaheim on Tuesday. Markstrom has lost four of his last five starts and is 4-4-2 with a 3.03 GAA and .889 SV% on the road this season. The Swede stopped 35 of 36 shots in a win over the Maple Leafs in early-December.
